History Society of CUPSA is now recruiting members and officers. Hope this message finds you well.

Introduction of History Society

The history mirrors both thriving and calamity. The History Society belongs to the Chinese University Postgraduate Student Association (CUPSA). We aim to provide a platform for teachers and students to express their viewpoints about history. In the History Society, everyone can be the lecturer, introducing his/her favorite historical events and figures. We will invite some celebrities to share their thoughts on certain historical topics. Besides, we will hold plenty of other activities such as organizing cultural salons and trips to historical spots and museums in Hong Kong. You will become a basic member of the CUPSA after joining in the History Society. If you want to enjoy the full membership of CUPSA, you shall pay the member fee to CUPSA.

Note：We need recruit 10 officers, and sincerely wish those who are good at Photoshop and designing to join.

Upcoming Events

(1)   Academic Lecture

①     Students who are interested can apply for lecturer, can make a presentation about whatever historical events and people.

②     We will invite some famous scholars to give us lectures on certain historical topics.

(2)   Sightseeing

We will organize trips regularly to historical spots and museums in Hong Kong.

(3)   Debates

Debates over certain historical events or people will be held, which allows students to team up freely. The best debater will be rewarded.

(4)   Essay competition

Students are welcome to submit their essay to our essay competition. The best essays will be published on our websites, the authors of which will be rewarded.
